IN-OFFICE LACTATION CONSULTATIONS NOW AVAILABLE!

Jaudon has office hours on Tuesdays at Kidz Health, which is located at 4653 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60630.

An in-office lactation consultation includes the following:

• A detailed review of both mother's and baby's history.
• A physical assessment of baby and mother's breasts.
• A feeding observation, including before and after-feeding weight checks to assess milk intake.
• Physical feeding assistance.
• Identifying problem issues.
• Care plan to address concerns.

Jaudon will provide detailed education and recommendations to help you meet your breastfeeding goals during the consultation.

Some things Jaudon is able to help resolve are difficult latch/positioning, slow/no weight gain, nipple/breast pain, history of breast surgery, premature baby, tongue/lip tie, special medical conditions, twins/triplets, inverted nipples, returning to work, low milk supply, oversupply, high-needs baby, mastitis, plugged ducts, and more. 

At the end of the consultation, Jaudon will provide you with a receipt/"super bill" that you can provide to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A follow-up phone call, typically 2-3 days after consultation, is included. Complex cases may require a second in-person follow-up consultation at a reduced cost.

The fee for an in-office consultation is $175. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to book appointment. The remaining $125 will be due at time of consultation. Cash, electronic QuickPay, and debit/credit are accepted for payment. All debit/credit transactions are subject to a 2.75% processing fee.
