Breastfeeding is natural, beautiful, and sacred, but it can also sometimes be fragile and challenging. There are a variety of situations in which an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is best-suited to help mothers successfully overcome challenges to accomplish their breastfeeding goals.

Owner of Matrescence Lactation Consulting, Jaudon Rogers, MS, RN, IBCLC, CCE holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Nursing, both from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She began her career working as an Registered Nurse in the labor and delivery department of a high-risk, Level III perinatal center in Chicago, IL. Jaudon then worked as a Maternal-Child Nurse Navigator where her work spanned across labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal intensive care units in another Level III facility in Chicago. Her role there was a unique one, as she acted as the liaison between patients, families, doctors, and the hospital as a whole. Jaudon's primary focus was to help women navigate pregnancy, the transition of becoming a mother, and the experiences of early motherhood.  As her experience and passion grew, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE). She continued to work in the hospital setting as an IBCLC and perinatal educator until starting her own private practice, Matrescence Lactation Consulting.

In her practice, Jaudon uses her clinical expertise to uplift mothers during matrescence by providing them with the knowledge, support, and tools they need to meet their goals.

Jaudon is also the proud mother of 3 terrific children, who she credits for much of her passion.
